Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) mistakenly offered his condolences to former President Jimmy Carter’s dead wife shortly after the Democratic former president died on Sunday, WFAA reports.
Rosalynn Carter had died more than a year earlier – on November 19, 2023, at age 96.
