Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been made acting administrator of USAID, ABC News reports.
Bloomberg: “The move to give Rubio authority over USAID further erodes its independence after several days that saw more than 50 top staffers put on leave and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency gain access to its internal systems. On Sunday, nearly all staff were told not to report to work pending further guidance.”
