“President Vladimir Putin of Russia said on Thursday that he was open to the idea of a 30-day cease-fire in Ukraine but that a number of ‘questions’ must still be resolved,” the New York Times reports.
Said Putin: “The idea itself is the right one, and we definitely support it. But there are questions that we need to discuss, and I think that we need to talk them through with our American colleagues and partners.”
