Tucker Carlson Says the Murdochs Wanted Him to Run

“Tucker Carlson says the Murdoch family, which owns Fox News along with The Wall Street Journal and a number of other international media properties, urged him to run for president against President Trump in the 2024 election,” The Hill reports.

Said Carlson: “The Murdochs really hate Trump. I got fired in April of 2023. In May of 2023, they asked me to run for president against Trump and said they would back me.”

Carlson also told Clayton Morris: “I would never get elected anyway. Plus, I like Trump.”
