“President Donald Trump appears to be getting along well with the close ally of Nicolás Maduro who’s now in charge in Venezuela,” Politico reports.
“Trump and interim President Delcy Rodríguez spoke by phone Wednesday and both leaders described the call in positive terms.”
Said Trump: “We just had a great conversation today and she’s a terrific person.”
