“Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth rejected concerns of another forever war during the Trump administration’s first media briefing since the beginning of its military operations in Iran,” NOTUS reports.
Hegseth described the operation, which he called the “most lethal, most complex and most precise aerial operation in history,” as a necessary response to Iran’s “nuclear blackmail ambitions.”
He added: “This is not a regime-change war, but the regime sure did change. This is not Iraq, this is not endless. Our generation knows better, and so does this president.”
