FCC chairman Brendan Carr said that broadcasters need to “correct course” or risk losing their broadcasting licenses, citing Donald Trump’s recent displeasure with the mainstream media’s coverage of the Iran War, Variety reports.
Said Carr: “Broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions – also known as the fake news – have a chance now to correct course before their license renewals come up.”
