Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) made a vague claim in the Democratic U.S. Senate debate last night that Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) appeared in files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the Boston Globe reports.
Asked by Reilly to provide “more specifics,” Moulton charged that Markey had links to “one of Epstein’s pals,” without providing a name.
Markey hit back at the assertions: “I have never had any relationship with Epstein. I have no business with him. And what you’re saying right now is actually the worst of the playbook of distraction and character assassination.”
