Can I expense my membership?
Many people who work in politics, public policy and public affairs — or just need to keep up with the news — treat the membership as a business expense.
How do I sign up?

Do you offer group discounts?
Yes. Our sign up page explains how the group discount works for your company or organization.
Why can’t I log in?
Political Wire‘s membership software won’t work if you’ve disabled cookies. Either change your browser’s security settings or use another browser.
If you’re still having problems, it often helps to clear your browser cache.
Why am I seeing ads?
If you’re seeing advertising, you’re either not currently logged in or your membership has expired. Please log in or check your account status.
Why do I need to log in every time I visit?
Once you log in on any one device, you should stay logged in for up to a year.
If your browser does not remember that you are logged in, please make sure you have cookies enabled.

How can I switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan?
To switch plans, click “Change plan” from the subscriptions section in your account. You’ll be switched to the new plan immediately and charged a prorated amount.
One bonus is that annual memberships are priced to effectively give you two additional months for free!
How can I switch to Member Plus?
To switch plans, click “Change plan” from the subscriptions section in your account. You’ll be switched to the new plan immediately and charged a prorated amount.
How do I update my email address?
Just log in to your account to change your email address or make other account changes.
How do I update my credit card?
Just log in to your account to enter your new credit card information. If your subscription has expired, please make sure to also click Renew Your Subscription and you’ll be back in instantly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Just log in to your account and toggle auto-renew off from the subscriptions section.
How do I reset my password?
Passwords are not required for your Political Wire membership account. Instead, visit our sign in form, enter your email address and click “Send sign in link.” We’ll send you an email with a link that you can click to sign in.
If you prefer to create a password for your account, you can do so after you sign up for a membership. If you ever need to reset your password, click this link, enter your email address, and then click “send me reset instructions.”
How do I send someone a gift subscription?
Just click this link to send a gift subscription.
You will be prompted to enter the gift recipient’s name and email address, the delivery date, a personalized message, and your payment information. The gift recipient will receive an email with a link to activate their gift.
Keep in mind that you’re purchasing a one-time annual gift. The gift recipient will be responsible for adding a payment method before the next renewal period if they’d like to continue with the subscription. Your credit card is never attached to their account.

Can I use PayPal to pay for my membership?
Political Wire uses Stripe for payments. They’re a lot like PayPal, but with simpler pricing (no hidden fees), a cleaner interface, and more modern security features that don’t require us to ever see sensitive customer credit card data.
Do you offer refunds?
If you hate Political Wire, then of course we will honor a refund. We want to make this a good relationship rather than locking you in.
