The network invariably takes the speaker’s worst moment and cycles through that clip all day on their social platforms. It’s a rigged game, and it takes a certain type of politician to make the risk worth it.”

“Despite all of this, I think Kamala Harris’s decision to do this high-risk Fox News interview is the right one.”

Donald Trump offered meandering answers for how he would address housing affordability and help small businesses. “And so Trump, after jokingly asking the crowd whether ‘anybody else would like to faint,’ took a different approach.”

Said Trump: “Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music. Let’s make it into a music. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?”

“For 39 minutes, Trump swayed, bopped — sometimes stopping to speak — as he turned the event into almost a living-room listening session of his favorite songs from his self-curated rally playlist.”

“He played nine tracks. He danced. He shook hands with people onstage. He pointed to the crowd. Noem stood beside him, nodding with her hands clasped. Trump stayed in place onstage, slowly moving back and forth. He was done answering questions for the night.”

Donald Trump accused Fox News on Monday of “constantly polluting the airwaves with unopposed” representatives of Kamala Harris after the network announced it’s airing a sit-down interview with his Democratic presidential rival, Axios reports.

Politico: Trump claims Fox News “has totally lost its way” after the network announces it will interview Harris.

“If Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election and Democrats flip the House and keep the Senate, the U.S. would witness a powerful resurgence of progressive policymaking across virtually every sector,” Axios reports.

“A fully Democrat-controlled Washington would protect President Biden’s legacy of vast domestic spending programs, including green-energy projects, and existing U.S. foreign policy.”

“Democrats would race to make American courts less conservative, and hope for a Republican-appointed Supreme Court justice to retire.”

“Kamala Harris could sit down with popular podcaster Joe Rogan for an interview in the final stretch of the U.S. presidential campaign,“ Reuters reports.

“Harris campaign officials met with Rogan’s team this week but an appearance has not been confirmed yet.”

“Rogan, who runs the most popular podcast in the United States, has a highly coveted and devoted following that leans young, male and numbers in the tens of millions.”

Jake Tapper called out Donald Trump’s authoritarian rhetoric on his show today.

“Kamala Harris is blitzing through the states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan this week, as polls tighten and Democratic nerves fray over the possibility they could again lose the ‘blue wall’ to Donald Trump,” The Hill reports.

“Harris in the next six days will spend three days in Michigan, two days in Pennsylvania and a day in Wisconsin with multiple stops on each visit.”

“Kamala Harris plans to slam Republican rival Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on Monday night over the former president’s comment that the US military should handle ‘the enemy from within’ on Election Day,” CNN reports.

“Harris on Monday plans to warn that Trump’s actions could put people’s freedom at risk. Harris’ campaign will also release a new ad, dubbed ‘Enemy Within,’ which features Trump repeatedly invoking the phrase ‘the enemy from within’ on the campaign trail.”

“Donald Trump insists that Project 2025, a nearly 1,000-page blueprint for a hard-right turn in American government and society, does not reflect his priorities for a White House encore,” the AP reports.

Said Trump: “I haven’t read it. I don’t want to read it — purposefully.”

“Yet from economics, immigration and education policy to civil rights and foreign affairs, there are common ideas and shared ideology between Project 2025 and Trump’s outline for another term — from his official ‘Agenda 47’ slate, the Republican platform he personally approved and his other statements.”
