Cassidy Once Donated to Landrieu

Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) once made a $500 contribution to Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA), the woman he’s running against for U.S. Senate, the Baton Rouge Advocate reports.

Cassidy, who was a Democrat well before entering politics, called it a “youthful indiscretion,” adding, “Back then, Mary said she was a conservative.”
