Sandberg Not Mulling Senate Bid

A source close to Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg says a Daily Mail report that she is planning a run for Senate “is 100% untrue,” Business Insider reports.

“When the story first hit, we warned readers to take the news with a grain of salt. The Daily Mail is a British tabloid that doesn’t have a great record of publishing breaking US political news. That said, there has been speculation that Sandberg would quit Facebook for a political career for a long time.”
