Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) demolished his competition in the 2014 CPAC presidential preference straw poll, winning 31% of the vote — nearly three times the total of second-place Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), the AP reports.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) suffered a huge drop from last year, falling from 23%
and second place to 6% and seventh place.
