Booker Dines With Cruz

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) had dinner with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) even though “he’s a Texas meat-eating cowboy, I’m a Jersey boy, vegetarian,” Politico reports.

Said Booker: “There was no filibusters going on, he did not read Green Eggs and Ham. We had probably one of the best constitutional law discussions since I got out of law school.
