Brooks Parker (R), a town council member in Wethersfield, CT, didn’t mute his microphone during an online budget meeting when he started talking to someone else.
Said Parker: “Is it bad if I tell you that I’m watching a town budget meeting and trying to do my taxes at the same time?”
After laughing hysterically, Parker added: “I don’t care about the fucking needs of the budget.”

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
