The unrest in Minneapolis got the attention of President Trump this morning, who tweeted he “can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City,” the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
He added that he had talked to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) “and told him that the military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”
