Greenfield Leads In Iowa

A new Des Moines Register poll in Iowa finds Theresa Greenfield (D) leading Sen. Joni Ernst (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 45% to 42%.

The results are largely unchanged since June.

Said pollster J. Ann Selzer: “I will admit to some skepticism about the numbers that we saw in June because we were so close to the primary and Theresa Greenfield was relatively unknown. But she is holding her own, and I think that says something about Joni Ernst’s vulnerability.”
