Melanie Stansbury (D) has defeated Mark Moores (R) in New Mexico’s first congressional district special election to fill the unexpired term of Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, the Albuquerque Journal reports.
Axios: “Stansbury’s victory Tuesday night will grow Democrats’ thin majority in the House to nine seats.”
It looks like a big win for Stansbury.
