Kay Ivey Will Seek Re-Election as Governor

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) “said she would seek a second full term as governor of Alabama in an announcement that stressed her reaction to the COVID-19 outbreak and pro-business policies,” the Montgomery Advertiser reports.

“Ivey’s announcement did not come as a surprise, but will almost certainly clear the field of Republican challengers.”
