Senators to Talk Again on Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal

Republican and Democratic senators who negotiated an infrastructure deal will hold a phone call this afternoon amid GOP fury at President Biden conditioning a deal on a massive budget reconciliation package, the Washington Post reports.

To those who think Republicans were actually surprised Democrats would also try a reconciliation bill, it was reported widely earlier this month.
