Manchin Says There Won’t Be a Deal by Tomorrow

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) told CNN “that won’t happen” when asked about Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying there needs to be deal on “legislative language” with the White House on a budget reconciliaton bill in order to get progressives to support the bipartisan infrastructure bill when it’s scheduled for a vote tomorrow.

Said Manchin: “No one has been negotiating along those lines with the other parties here.”

Meanwhile, The Hill reports Pelosi said the stonewalling by Senate centrists has “completely” disrupted the Democrats’ timeline.
