Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) told Democratic colleagues at lunch Tuesday that he will work with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) to reach a deal on a budget reconciliation bill by week’s end, The Hill reports.
Punchbowl News: “There is a lot more urgency to get a top-line agreement within the next few weeks — potentially this week. That doesn’t mean a vote will happen in the next two weeks. It doesn’t mean they’ll definitely get a deal. There are huge hurdles.
