A new NBC News poll finds President Biden’s approval rate has sunk to a new low, 40% to 55%.
And during the nation’s largest inflation spike in 40 years, overwhelming majorities believe the country is headed in the wrong direction and disapprove of the president’s handling of the economy.
The same survey found Republicans held a 2-point advantage when asked which party should control Congress following this fall’s midterm elections.
