Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Monday he thinks it’s a “50-50” possibility that Republicans take the Senate in the November midterm elections — and the final outcome will be close, CBS News reports.
Said McConnell: “I think the outcome is likely to be very, very close, either way. But the stakes will be big, because if both the House and the Senate flip, I think the president will be a moderate. He won’t have any choice.”
