South Carolina state Rep. Doug Gilliam (R) claimed that a 12-year old rape victim still “had choices” to get an abortion despite a new abortion ban, noting “the morning after pill was available… that’s available in Walmart.”
When asked, “If her dad rapes her and she’s carrying the child, who drives her to get the morning after pill?” Gilliam responded: “The ambulance.”
