Cheney Urges Justices to Rule on Trump’s Immunity Claim

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) writes in the New York Times that if the Supreme Court does not resolve the issue of presidential immunity “quickly and decisively,” it will have a “profoundly negative impact” on the country.

Said Cheney: “If delay prevents this Trump case from being tried this year, the public may never hear critical and historic evidence developed before the grand jury, and our system may never hold the man most responsible for Jan. 6 to account.”
