Pentagon to Pull Mark Milley’s Security Detail

“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will announce he is revoking the security clearance and personal security detail for retired Army General and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley,” Reuters reports.

“Hegseth will also direct a review to consider if Milley should be stripped of a star in retirement based on actions that ‘undermine the chain of command.’”

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
