“James Carville said he favors Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) as the party’s nominee for president in the 2028 election,” The Hill reports.
Said Carville: “If I had to say one guy — I really don’t know him, very superficially — but if I were like betting the Kentucky Derby and I saw this 12-to-1 horse and I said, ‘Yeah, I want to get a price,’ I’d take JB Pritzker.'”
He added: “They like him, man. He campaigns hard. I bet you there’s not a Black church in South Carolina that JB’s not a part of the building fund committee… He’s worth $3 billion and won a million and a half dollars shooting craps and blackjack in Las Vegas! That makes people like him!”
Chris Cillizza puts out his ranking of the top ten Democratic candidates and has Pritzker in tenth place.
