President Trump’s takeover of the Washington, D.C. police is part of a fight that highlights the growing urban-rural political divide, and plays well to his base, the Washington Post reports.
However, Axios reports there aren’t “concrete plans” for Trump to replicate his D.C. plan in other cities.
