“The National Capital Planning Commission on Thursday delayed its final vote on President Trump’s planned $400 million White House ballroom amid a deluge of negative comments from the public,” the New York Times reports.
Playbook: “The White House’s proposal is expected to be approved by the panel. But public sentiment is not on the White House’s side. More than 97 percent of the more than 35,000 public comments sent to the NCPC were negative.”
