On Tuesday, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) held a House oversight hearing on the CIA’s defunct mind control program that operated from 1953 to 1973, Mother Jones reports.
Luna used the hearing to promote conspiracy theories, suggesting without evidence that MKULTRA might still be active and asking whether USAID “may have been used overseas” on “prisoners of war” to continue the program.
