“That lesson is unfolding in dramatic fashion this morning as Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general, Todd Blanche, faces an embarrassing delay thanks to Senator John Cornyn.”

“A scheduled vote to advance Blanche through the Senate Judiciary Committee today was postponed late Wednesday night after a day of drama and defiance from Cornyn and fellow GOP Senator Thom Tillis.”

“Both are Republicans who Trump torpedoed in his political revenge tour. Both now stand in his way, denying Blanche (for now) the committee votes he needs.”
