Thom Tillis (R-NC) lashed out in private texts to Donald Trump earlier this year, saying he refused to take the president’s ‘bullshit’ and that, had Trump directly threatened him with a primary challenge, he would’ve ‘immediately told you to fuck yourself’ and announced his retirement early, according to messages obtained by Playbook that will appear in Tillis’ upcoming book, How to Lose Friends and Antagonize Presidents.”
