“Save America PAC — President Donald Trump’s preferred vehicle for paying legal bills — spent more than $5.1 million on legal bills during the third quarter, or around $56,000 per day, according to the committees’ latest filing to the Federal Election Commission,” the Washington Sun reports.
“That kind of spending has sent the leadership PAC — which is often pushing money out the door faster than it can come in — into legal debt topping $1.9 million.”
