Associated Press: “Democrats have employed an all-hands-on-deck push to bank as many votes as possible while Republicans, especially Walker, have taken a less aggressive approach that could leave the GOP nominee heavily dependent on runoff Election Day turnout.”

New York Times: “Voters have a far smaller window to cast ballots, which has led to hourslong lines around metro Atlanta, a Democratic stronghold, even though fewer people are voting ahead of Tuesday’s runoff race than in the early 2021 elections. Democrats fear the restrictions will hamper a turnout machine they spent years building.”

Meanwhile, Warnock has a new ad out featuring Barack Obama.

“As a surge of Georgia voters streamed to the polls this weekend, Sen. Raphael Warnock headlined a half-dozen rallies across metro Atlanta. Herschel Walker, his Republican opponent, was nearly invisible, without a public event for five days,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

“The Republican’s campaign, once singularly focused on slamming Warnock’s ties to President Joe Biden, abruptly shifted to accuse Walker’s former football coach of not really being his former football coach after he endorsed Warnock.”

“And thanks to Warnock’s dominating fundraising advantage, the airwaves have been blanketed with Walker’s rambling stump speech gaffes, including a recent inexplicable analysis of horror movie villains: ‘A werewolf can kill a vampire, did you know that?'”

David Corn: Herschel Walker once said he was the target of racism. Now he claims it doesn’t exist.

“Political attack ads often take one of two paths. They use an opposing candidate’s words against them or show ordinary people delivering an argument that’s a little too hot for a campaign to make on its own,” the New York Times reports.

“The 60-second ad from Mr. Warnock, the Georgia Democrat, splices together footage of his Republican opponent, Herschel Walker, speaking about vampire movies, pregnant cows and how “our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air.”

Herschel Walker (R), facing renewed and growing questions about his residency in the final week of the runoff campaign, described himself during a campaign speech in January as living in Texas and said he decided to run for Georgia’s Senate seat while at his Texas “home,” CNN reports.

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports that Georgia authorities have been urged in a complaint to investigate Walker’s residency.

“Former First Lady Michelle Obama is helping U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock energize voters in his Dec. 6 runoff contest against Republican Herschel Walker. It’s her first foray into Georgia politics this cycle and one of only a handful of endorsements she’s issued this year,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

“It comes days before her husband, former President Barack Obama, headlines a rally for Warnock in Atlanta to boost turnout in the last election of the 2022 campaign.”

“Georgia voters set a single-day early turnout record Monday as 301,500 people stormed to the polls on the first day they were open in most counties ahead of the U.S. Senate runoff,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Georgia U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker (R) “had nothing to say about the dinner date between his political patron, former president Donald Trump, and an avowed white supremacist and anti-Semite,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports

“Walker hasn’t taken a question since early October from the reporters covering his campaign in Georgia and Monday was no exception.”

Records show U.S. Senate hopeful Herschel Walker (R) — who’s facing fresh questions about his Georgia residency — rented out his Atlanta home just before launching his campaign, the Daily Beast reports.

“Donald Trump will not cross the Florida state line to campaign with Herschel Walker during the final week of the Georgia Senate runoff election, after both camps decided the former president’s appearance carried more political risks than rewards,” the New York Times reports.

“Instead of holding one of his signature campaign rallies, Mr. Trump is planning a call with supporters in the state and will continue sending online fund-raising pleas for Mr. Walker.”

“The decision to keep Mr. Trump out of the spotlight was a response largely to the former president’s political style and image, which can energize his core supporters but also motivate Democratic voters and turn off significant segments of moderate Republicans.”

“Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) hardly took any time off for Thanksgiving break, headlining six separate events scattered across metro Atlanta this weekend to pump up weekend voting,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

“Meanwhile, Herschel Walker, his Republican opponent, hasn’t had a public event since last Tuesday.”

“Walker is back on the campaign trail on Monday… but his disappearing act less than two weeks before the Dec. 6 runoff baffled many of his Republican allies.”

Associated Press: “Ads with the candidates’ ex-wives. Cries of ‘liar’ flying in both directions. Stories of a squalid apartment building and abortions under pressure. Questioning an opponent’s independence. His intellect. His mental stability. His religious faith.”

“The extended Senate campaign in Georgia between the Democratic incumbent, Raphael Warnock, and his Republican challenger, football legend Herschel Walker, has grown increasingly bitter as their Dec. 6 runoff nears. With Democrats already assured a Senate majority, it’s a striking contrast from two years ago, when the state’s twin runoffs were mostly about which party would control the chamber in Washington.”

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) had $29.7 million in cash on hand on November 16, while Herschel Walker (R) had $9.8 million heading into the final three weeks before the Senate runoff, Inside Elections reports.

And Democratic outside groups are also outspending Republican outside groups.

Wall Street Journal: “The Georgia GOP and Republican National Committee said in a memo that they have 400 paid staffers on the ground, in addition to 30 people from Mr. Walker’s team and aides from the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm.”

“The Warnock campaign has added over 900 paid field staffers—an addition of about 300 people to scale up for the runoff—to reach voters who supported him or another candidate in the general election, aides said. The campaign plans to use that field team to knock on more doors than it did during the general election. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has made a $7 million investment in the campaign’s effort to bring its voters back to the polls.”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is planning to hold a “virtual rally” for Walker shortly before Election Day — which his team considers “an effective way to motivate his fans without drawing the kind of news coverage that stirs up opposition.”

With less than two weeks until the Georgia Senate runoff, Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) released a new ad about Thanksgiving and what it means to him.

This is Warnock’s fourth campaign in two years for this Senate seat and it shows. He’s getting pretty good at this.

“This election is about more than Herschel Walker. This erection is about the people.”

The second woman who claimed Herschel Walker (R) pressured her to have an abortion will hold a press conference and offer new evidence of her relationship with Walker  — including audio recordings, the Daily Beast reports.

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) released a new ad featuring featuring Herschel Walker’s former teacher and football coach, Curtis Dixon.

Said Dixon: “The biggest difference between the two candidates — we’re talking about the skill sets. I feel Herschel is — he has the minimum requirement, but he does not have the criteria to be a representative to serve the people.”

A new AARP poll in Georgia shows Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) leading challenger Herschel Walker (R) in the Senate runoff, 51% to 47%.

Key takeaway: Among independent voters, Warnock leads 54% to 39%.
