“South Carolina is the land of strange politics. You never know quite what’s coming in the last week of a campaign.”

— Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R), quoted by the Los Angeles Times, who is running in Tuesday’s special congressional election.

Same Election. Different Stories.

Election Day brings a flood of political news — and which sources you follow can shape the story you see.

That's why I appreciate what Ground News does. It shows how the same story is covered across the political spectrum — and highlights important stories that one side may be ignoring entirely.

And when the votes are counted and everyone starts debating what they mean, it's a useful way to get a broader view.
