McAllister Says He Won’t Quit

Rep Vance McAllister (R-LA) said that he doesn’t intend to resign despite the release of a video showing him kissing a woman who isn’t his wife, the Monroe News Star reports.

McAllister said he plans to stand for re-election next fall “unless there is an outcry for me not to serve, and so far there has been an outpouring of support, not for my actions, but for me to continue to represent the people.”
