Gov. Chris Christie has had one of the smallest campaign teams of the major candidates, with just 34 staffers. But he “has hired six additional aides, four nationally and two in New Hampshire, bringing his campaign’s headcount to 40,” the Washington Post reports.
Meanwhile, a Christie adviser tells James Hohmann that the campaign “will place advertising buys today in both Iowa and South Carolina, an indication they are bringing in more money and continue to look beyond just New Hampshire, where their primary focus has been over the past year.”
