“New Jersey’s top prosecutor made a personal plea to a federal appeals court Monday, asking judges to block the release of a list of people suspected of — but not charged with — involvement in the politically motivated closure of access lanes to the George Washington Bridge,” the Bergen County Record reports.
“A group of media companies, including North Jersey Media Group, the publisher of The Record, is seeking the list of so-called unindicted co-conspirators after intervening in the forthcoming trial of two former allies of Governor Christie who are accused of conspiring to close the lanes and then of covering it up. The list is believed to include public employees and elected and appointed officials who could have acted to further the conspiracy.”
