Wasserman Schultz Will Resign as DNC Chair

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in a statement that she will resign as the Democratic party’s head after the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention.

Politico: “This final blow to her reputation caps a long, slow-motion fall from grace for Wasserman Schultz, who now faces her first Democratic primary opponent in 24 years, Tim Canova.”

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.
