Democrats to Prepare Articles of Impeachment

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and other committee chairmen Monday night after a nine-hour hearing in which a Democratic counsel laid out the party’s case against President Trump,” the Washington Post reports.

Politico says Democrats “are expected to unveil articles of impeachment against President Trump during a press conference Tuesday morning.”

“The Judiciary Committee is expected to mark up the articles of impeachment against Trump on Thursday… But several Democrats indicated Monday night the number of articles and specific charges against Trump were still being debated, potentially putting this week’s committee schedule in flux.”
