Former White House chief physician Ronny Jackson (R) has filed to run for Congress in Texas, the Texas Tribune reports.
“Trump nominated Jackson last year to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs, though he withdrew from consideration amid allegations of professional misconduct, including drinking on the job and overprescribing medication.”
