The Trump campaign’s new chief of staff, Stephanie Alexander, was charged with conspiracy to violate Oklahoma election laws in 2016 after cops arrested her boyfriend for cocaine and found incriminating texts on his phone, Business Insider reports.
Prosecutors claimed that Alexander and several alleged co-conspirators illegally coordinated the efforts of a “dark money” independent group with the campaign of a GOP candidate for Oklahoma superintendent of public instruction.
