Rep. Steve Stivers (R-OH) announced that he plans to retire in May to accept a position as president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
This could provide Speaker Nancy Pelosi with some wiggle room as the special election for fellow Ohio Rep. Marcia Fudge’s vacant seat won’t be held until November.
