The new Texas abortion law has essentially made it impossible for many teenage girls to terminate a pregnancy, the AP reports.
That’s because children under 18 have to get permission from a judge to get an abortion without parental consent, but the new six-week timeline is usually too short for someone to go through that court process in time.
