“House progressives intend to put out a resolution backing the administration’s social spending framework, but they still want to see final text before they’ll agree to vote for a bipartisan infrastructure bill,” Politico reports.
Sen. Joe Manchin told CNN he also needs to see the text: “We haven’t seen the text yet. Everyone has to see it. I don’t think anybody could say they could support it until they see the text.”
At least the centrists and progressives seem to agree on one thing.
