Biden Called Jayapal’s Mother After Vote

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), leader of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said President Biden “even called her mother in India, though it was unclear why,” the AP reports.

Said Jayapal: “This was not to bribe me, this is when it was all done.”

The lawmaker said her mother told her she “just kept screaming like a little girl.”
