Trump Calls Putin’s Invasion of Ukraine Smart

Former President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin “smart” and criticized President Biden’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to a recording of an event at Mar-a-Lago last night.

Said Trump: “I mean, he’s taking over a country for $2 worth of sanctions. I’d say that’s pretty smart.”

Trump also phoned into Fox News to criticize Biden: “He doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. It’s a disgrace. It’s an absolute disgrace. We have get back into the real world now. We had energy at a level that nobody’s ever seen.”

He added: “And it all happened because of a rigged election.”
