The last week was an exhausting one in politics but I’m a bit more rested than usual since I spent it with my family in Italy.
We rented a gorgeous villa in Gaioli in Chianti — in the middle of a beautiful vineyard — and took day trips exploring Tuscany. And, of course, we ate some of the most wonderful food imaginable and even took a fun cooking class.
If the airlines cooperate, we will be back home in time for fireworks on July 4th!
