“Senate Democratic leaders are telling their rank-and-file that they’ll likely be in session over the weekend as Democrats try to push through their $740 billion reconciliation package,” Punchbowl News reports.
“The best guess right now is debate starts on the bill over the weekend — perhaps a motion to proceed vote Saturday or Sunday — with a vote-a-rama extending into early next week.”
“But that’s just an estimate. There are no deadlines on the Byrd bath. And Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will only proceed when he’s sure that Democrats can pull this off successfully.”
